2017-18-Tijuana-Betting-Picks-at-JustBet-Sportsbook

Tijuana was a powerhouse last season, finishing first in Apertura and first in Clausura but they lost in the playoffs. The team was led by Dayro Moreno, Gabriel Hauche, Avilés Hurtado, Milton Caraglio and Guido Rodríguez. All five of those players will need to be replaced and Tijuana will have a new manager as gone is Miguel “Piojo” Herrera. Tijuana has a new manager in Eduardo Coudet and a number of new players, including Damián Musto who is supposed to replace Rodríguez. Musto had 44 goals in 94 league games for Racing. Other important newcomers include Alejandro Donatti, Enzo Kalinski and Matías Aguirregaray. It will be interesting to see how the new players come together for the new manager in 2017-2018.

Tijuana Mexican Liga MX Odds

It is rare when a successful team undergoes so many changes in the off-season but that is what happened with Tijuana. Will all of the changes work out well? It is hard to say, especially with the team having a new manager in Coudet. It may take him some time to get everyone on the same page, so Clausura may be where this team makes their mark in 2017-2018.

The team lost Guido Rodríguez and Carlos Vargas to América, Milton Caraglio to Atlas and Avilés Hurtado to Monterrey. They also lost Dayro Moreno.

Tijuana 2017-18 Predictions

All that can be said about the changes at Tijuana is wow. This team is going to be very difficult to predict because they have a new manager in Coudet and a lot of new players. The team does bring back the pairing of Emanuel Aguilera and Juan Carlos “Topo” Valenzuela. Tijuana is expecting a lot from Gustavo Bou and he has support from Ismael Malcorra, Paul Arriola, Juan Lucero, Mauricio Cuero and Luis “Quick” Mendoza. Malcorra played well last season when taking over as a starter.

The key to this season will be how the team adjusts to the new system of Coudet. It has been said that Coudet is a mixture of Turco Mohamed and Piojo Herrera. That sounds great on paper, but we’ll see how it actually turns out. There is no question that Tijuana needs Bou to score goals as he did with Racing. He should get a lot of help from Musto who is excellent in the midfield. Enzo Kalinski is also very good in the midfield and should work well with Musto.

The new additions for Tijuana could work out well, as the team already has Ignacio Malcorra, Damian Perez, Martin Lucero, Topo Valenzuela, Paul Arriola, Joe Corona and goalkeeper Gibran Lajud.

It might take some time for Tijuana to come together, but there is no question the team has a lot of talent. They could contend for a playoff spot in Apertura, but Clausura is where they should soar in 2017-2018.
