Tigres is coming off yet another successful season, as they won Apertura and finished second in Clausura. It was not all good news, however, as Tigres was beaten in the final of the CONCACAF Champions League. Tigres will have to replace Guido Pizarro who left for Sevilla but they were hoping to add Mateus Uribe from America. Tigres did make a key off-season move, as they brought in Enner Valencia who played well for Pachuca but struggled a bit for West Ham. There is no question that Tigres will be one of the top contenders in Liga MX this season.
Tigres Mexican Liga MX Odds
Tigres begins the 2017-2018 season as one of the favorites to win the league. The loss of Pizarro does hurt, but Tigres has enough overall depth to compensate for his loss and Valencia should help. Anything less than another title for Tigres this season would be considered a disappointment.

Tigres 2017-18 Predictions
Tigres has plenty of goal scoring power with Eduardo Vargas and André-Pierre Gignac leading the way. What we don’t know is how everything will work behind them. Pizarro and Rivas are gone, as are the Quinones brothers. Juniho has seen his best days so Mez could get more playing time. Valencia is going to be a key starter and he needs to play well for this team to be a title contender.
Tigres has been a perennial contender in the last three years, as they have been to four Liguilla finals, two CONCACAF Champions League finals, a Copa MX final, and they played in the Copa Libertadores final. It has been quite a run for this club recently and it may continue in 2017-2018.
Tigres appears to be slightly weaker than they were a year ago, but still good enough to contend for a title. The loss of Pizzaro definitely hurts and it may take some time for Valencia to get integrated into the system. Tigres will still be one of the top teams in the league and they should make the playoffs. Whether they can win a title is the key question. The answer may come down to whether or not they can make another move in the transfer window to strengthen the midfield. If so, Tigres should make a major run at another title in 2017-2018. If not, they could end up falling short.
