Morelia just barely avoided relegation a year ago, but now they head into the 2017-2018 season in pretty good shape, as they made some nice additions and they held onto most of their players. Morelia has a solid scorer in Raúl Ruidíaz and manager Roberto Hernandez will get a chance to show his system works, as he takes over full-time after having a number of interim chances. Morelia was able to hang onto Raúl Ruidiáz and Diego Valdés and they had the loans of Sebastián Sosa, Sebastián Vegas and Aldo Rocha made permanent.
Morelia Mexican Liga MX Odds
Morelia heads into the 2017-2018 season as one of the teams right in the middle of the table. They probably don’t have enough overall talent to contend for an upper level finish but they should not be in any relegation danger. What Morelia does have is scoring, so they could be a team to bet over the total in their matches this season and they will definitely be fun to watch.

Morelia 2017-18 Predictions
Morelia finished 13th in Apetura last season and 8th in Clausura. They were no threat to do anything in the playoffs but just making it was considered a success. The team has some good talent up front and some playmakers including Rodrigo Millar. There are plenty of scoring options led by Ruidiáz. He gets support from Jefferson Cuero, Andy Polo and Rodolfo Vilchis and Valdes is a good attacking midfielder. The club made some nice additions for 2017-2018 that should give them more experience and more depth.
Morelia scores plenty of goals but usually they give up just as many or more. They scored 28 goals in Apetura last year and allowed 34. It was a little better in Clausura, as they scored 25 and gave up 24. That difference was enough for them to finish in 6th place and make the playoffs.
Morelia is not really a contender to win a title this season, but they do have enough talent to avoid relegation and they could also make another run at a playoff spot if they can simply play better defensively. Morelia has plenty of scoring options, so they will be a dangerous opponent for top teams in Liga this season but unless they get exceptional goal keeping they are unlikely to do much damage in the playoffs.
