From the week after Labor Day through the Super Bowl at the end of January or beginning of February, all eyes are firmly planted on the NFL in the sports betting world. Each of the 32 teams has an opportunity every year to hoist the Lombardi Trophy and beat the Super Bowl odds, but only one of the lucky 32 will be left standing in the end.

Arizona Cardinals

Bruce Arians and the Cards could be set to go into rebuilding mode after the 2017 season, but they're set to make one more Super Bowl run with Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald first.

Atlanta Falcons

28-3 will be engrained in the minds of Falcons fans for the rest of eternity. Though they did lose the Super Bowl last year, they should be back with vengeance once again in 2017.

Baltimore Ravens

Never count out a John Harbaugh-coached team. The Ravens are usually competitive and have a man in Joe Flacco under center who has already shown he's got ice in his veins in the biggest moments in games.

Buffalo Bills

An entirely new front office and coaching staff will usher in a new era of Bills football beginning in 2017.

Carolina Panthers

The Panthers had a Super Bowl hangover in 2016, but after putting together a dominant season in 2015, Cam Newton is back with some new weapons in his arsenal in rookies Curtis Samuel and Christian McCaffrey.

Chicago Bears

Mitch Trubisky was picked as the quarterback of the future in the Windy City, but this year is going to be nothing but a learning experience on a team that has a lot of rebuilding to do.

Cincinnati Bengals

Marvin Lewis has had opportunity after opportunity to keep the Bengals relevant, but this might be his last shot to get his first ever postseason victory.

Cleveland Browns

The Browns are trying to smart their way into relevance once again in the AFC North. They've still got one of the worst rosters in the league, but they're amassing a boatload of talent and draft capital.

Dallas Cowboys

Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott came into Dallas last year as rookies and completed changed the way the Cowboys play football. Now, they're officially back as one of the best teams in the league.

Denver Broncos

John Elway has done a lot in his career in football, but he has yet to develop his own quarterback. Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch are running out of time to prove they can be the next Elway in Denver.

Detroit Lions

The Lions have reached relevance for the past several seasons, but they don't feel like they're anywhere near actually winning a Super Bowl.

Green Bay Packers

Any time you've got Aaron Rodgers on your roster, you've got a shot to hoist a Lombardi Trophy. The Packers will be amongst the favorites in 2017 for that very reason.

Houston Texans

The Texans have never had a franchise quarterback to build around. They've got a shot to build around Deshaun Watson, but at this point, they're only going to go as far as their elite defense will take them.

Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have largely wasted the prime of Andrew Luck's career by putting a horrible team around him. This year's squad looks a little more smartly built and could contend for the AFC South title.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Blake Bortles is in a contract year, and if he can't prove he's a legitimate starter in this league, Tom Coughlin will pull the plug on him in a hurry.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are trying to contend for a Super Bowl and develop a young quarterback in Patrick Mahomes II at the same time.

Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers are going to have an interesting dynamic this year playing at the StubHub Center in Carson before ultimately moving in with the Rams.

Los Angeles Rams

Jared Goff didn't prove much in his first year, but he hasn't had much in the way of great help around him either. The defense is incredibly underrated in LA, and if Goff can make a big jump in Year 2 of his career, this could be a sneaky team.

Miami Dolphins

Most won't remember that the Fins won 10 games and went to the playoffs in 2016. Merely coming close to replicating that in 2017 would be considered a smashing success.

Minnesota Vikings

Losing Teddy Bridgewater during training camp in 2016 derailed the Vikings for a brief moment, but Sam Bradford bridged that gap. They aren't as good as the Packers, but the Vikes will still have a shot to contend in 2017.

New England Patriots

The Patriots are the only team in the NFL to have better than 10 to 1 odds to win the Super Bowl. The quest for a sixth Super Bowl title of the Belichick/Brady era seems to be on.

New Orleans Saints

There's only so many more seasons Drew Brees is going to play at a high level. Regardless of how well he plays, he needs a lot more help around him on the defensive side of the ball.

New York Giants

Eli Manning is being revved up for one more run at the Super Bowl. He's been the kryptonite for the Patriots over the years, and it isn't out of the realm of possibility that New York and New England meet again in the Super Bowl this season.

New York Jets

The Jets have cut or traded all of their veterans, and they're hoping to win the race to the bottom this year to have a shot at drafting Sam Darnold or another franchise quarterback to revive them in 2018.

Oakland Raiders

Derek Carr was given one of the richest deals in NFL history in the offseason. It's clear that he's the centerpiece to give this team a shot at a Super Bowl before moving to or shortly after arriving in Las Vegas.

Philadelphia Eagles

Doug Pederson did a nice job with the Eagles in his first season in 2016, and he's clearly grooming Carson Wentz to be the quarterback of this team for the next decade.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers never rebuild; they merely reload. Ben Roethlisberger is towards the end of his career at this point, but there isn't a clear second-best team in the AFC to challenge New England. Pittsburgh could easily be that team.

San Francisco 49ers

The Niners pulled off a heist by getting a few extra draft picks to move back one spot in the NFL Draft, but all of that won't get paid off for at least a few years. This team knows that it isn't competing in 2017.

Seattle Seahawks

The "Legion of Boom" isn't getting any younger, and Russell Wilson has looked a lot more like an average quarterback over the course of the last season or two than he did when he was guiding the Seahawks to the verge of the Super Bowl every year.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs have themselves a winner with Jameis Winston. They'll be hoping to make the postseason this year, but even if they don't, they know they're still probably a year or two away from having a legitimate shot at the Super Bowl.

Tennessee Titans

Drafting Marcus Mariota was the beginning of the turnaround in Tennessee. The Titans are going to surely contend in the AFC South for a second consecutive season, but this is the year they'll hope to get over the hump and move past Houston.

Washington Redskins

Kirk Cousins is playing on a franchise tag once again. It's not likely the 'Skins will bring him back on yet another tag, and if they can't get a long-term deal in place, this could be their last season of relevance before he walks.
